THE CONTEMPORARY VIOLA SESSIONS is a project and YouTube channel by Olivia Cheung and Natalia Senior-Brown created to celebrate viola repertoire from the 20th century to the present day. During their final year of undergraduate study at the Royal Northern College of Music, Olivia and Natalia wanted to establish a platform showcasing new music and lesser-known 20th century works for an often overlooked instrument. Since 2018, they have filmed and curated a digital performance series of talented viola players from across the United Kingdom.
